CHLP's Youth Advocacy Corps and Project LOL to Hold Youth Event on HIV Criminalization (2013)

CHLP's Youth Advocacy Corps and Project Living Out Loud (LOL) at the Hyacinth AIDS Foundation will hold a training session on HIV criminalization open to young people in Jersey City and neighboring communities. Participants will discuss the consequences of HIV-specific criminal laws and prosecutions in New Jersey and across the United States. The event will include brainstorming and strategizing sessions on how to engage young people in HIV criminalization issues, and build and sustain sexual health advocacy campaigns.

The training session will take place next Wednesday, August 7, 2013, 5 - 6pm, at Project LOL (32 Jones St., Jersey City, NJ). Dinner will provided. All young people are invited to attend. For more information or to RSVP, contact Adrian Guzman at 212-430-6733 or aguzman@hivlawandpolicy.org.
