CHLP Policy & Advocacy Manager Amir Sadeghi will present at an event on HIV & STI criminalization laws in New York State hosted by the U.S. PLHIV Caucus at Iris House on September 23 at 2:00pm ET.  All are welcome to attend to learn and engage about the history, national scope, and local impact of laws that criminalize people living with HIV and other stigmatized diseases. Amir will share ways advocates can get involved in efforts to end HIV criminalization in New York and across the country, and Iris House CAB Chair Lucille Grant will also discuss how the federal cuts to Medicaid and HIV services impact people in the community.
