Beyond Do No Harm Resistance Lab
This Pride month edition of the Beyond Do No Harm Resistance Lab, CHLP's Jada Hicks will join this discussion about resisting transphobic targeting of PrEP, access to HIV-related care, and programs supporting HIV-affected people, and will share updates around abortion, gender affirming care, and confronting ICE presence in healthcare spaces.
Jada will be joined by Tennessee advocate Lashanda Salinas to talk about the story they told in the Beyond Do No Harm zine, When Healing Becomes Resistance: Interrupting HIV Criminalization. The talk will also feature advocate Melanie Reese, co-chair of the HIV BASIC Coalition.
The Beyond Do No Harm Network is a group of health care providers, public health workers, impacted community members, advocates, and organizers working to address the harm caused when health providers and institutions facilitate, participate in, and support criminalization.
