At a time when people are searching for consistent, reliable guidance on best responses to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), this fact sheet from CHLPI provides a very useful review of the evolving policy landscape and opportunities for federal, state, and local governments to respond, including ensuring access to needed health care. Whatever the response, we must remain on guard against knee-jerk legislative and regulatory increases in executive and police powers that do nothing to protect our communities.
