The National LGBT Bar Association, a national association of lawyers, judges, law students, activists, and legal organizations, is hosting it's annual Lavender Law conference in San Francisco, CA, at the Marriott Marquis Hotel on August 22-24, 2013. CHLP's Legal Director, Iván Espinoza-Madrigal, will be conducting a workshop in Spanish titled "Lawyering en Español: Using Spanish To Help Build Bridges Across Diverse Communities."

This workshop will focus on how Spanish-speaking attorneys can use their language skills, cultural sensitivities, and our legal practice to help build bridges across diverse communities.  CHLP's Legal Director will discuss lawyering en español, serving Spanish-speaking clients and communities, and the current trends in the movement for HIV and LGBT equality. This workshop is scheduled for Friday, August 23, 2013, at 2 PM.
