CHLP's Mayo Schreiber presents at January webinar, Progress towards HIV Justice: Community Update on Michael L. Johnson's Case (2017)

On December 20, 2016, the Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District, issued a decision reversing the conviction of Michael Johnson and remanded his case for a new trial. This decision is a step towards justice
for Johnson. On January 4, 2017, attorneys for the State of Missouri filed a motion for rehearing or transfer. The State is contesting the December 20 decision that reversed his conviction. On January 6, CHLP's Deputy Diretor Mayo Schreiber presented at a webinar entitled, "Progress Towards HIV Justice: Community Update on MIchael L. Johnson's Case. The webinar was sponsored by the HIV Prevention Justice Alliance and was moderated by Charles Stephens, Director of The Counter Narrative  Project.
