End the Epidemic HIV Health Equity Leadership Development

CHLP Executive Director S. Mandisa Moore-O'Neal will be speaking to the End the Epidemic HIV Health Equity Leadership Development program on Friday, March 1, 2024, at 9:00am CT. The training session is presented by Satcher Health Leadership Institute at Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM SHLI) and the Center for Minority Health and Health Disparities Research and Education at Xavier University of Louisiana (XULA CMHDRE).

The project, End the Epidemic: Examining the Health Equity Implications of Health Systems,
Policy, and Data Gaps for People Living with HIV, addresses the structural barriers in HIV care impacting Black communities in various areas of Georgia and Louisiana. The trainings help MSM and XULA to train leaders to help close critical gaps impacting HIV care and drive the development of sustainable and solutions-driven policies and recommendations towards acheiving health equity for people living with HIV.
