A second chance for a man living with HIV to fight deportation to his native Honduras. The 7th Circuit has asked the immigration judge to reconsider his request to stay in the US due to hostility and persecution he would face were he to return because of his HIV status and the perception that he is gay. The immigration judge suggested he would be safe if he hid his HIV status as well as the characteristics that would lead people to think he was gay, a suggestion the circuit court rejected.
